Meet Our Staff
Bennie Baek, MAEd, SRAS
Bennie has dedicated over twenty-five years in education and is passionate about seeing children and families thrive. Through her love of research, she has discovered a correlation between the early sexual debut of children and health risks that follow. She sees an essential need to teach young people Healthy Relationship Skills as a primary prevention to many risky behaviors. She is certified as a Specialist in Sexual Risk Avoidance and is excited to bring evidence-based programs to youth and young adults so they have a risk-free, success driven future.
Co-Founder, Chief of Operations
Steve graduated from Biola University with a BA in Psychology. After the army, he worked as a Research Analyst for the state of Oregon. In the last twenty years, he worked in administration and served on the leadership team of an international organization that has operation in thirty different countries. He also served as a Chief of Staff to the CEO.
Steve is committed to raising up future leaders of our nation to navigate the challenges of today’s world in a healthy way. This motivates him to invest in bringing Sexual Risk Avoidance education to our community and beyond.
Jenae is finishing her bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics & Health Information Management from the University of Washington. She has a passion to see youth and young adults thrive in healthy relationships and make decisions that set them up for future success. She desires to see the next generation create a new norm of healthy sexuality through the practical tools shared through California Youth Partnership. Jenae believes family and healthy community play a key role in each person’s success story, which is why she is committed to helping cultivate that for youth and young adults today!
Shannon Craddock, MSW
Shannon joined the CYP team in fall 2018 with a vision to support youth in the area of sexuality by equipping them with skills and education to make choices for their healthiest life outcomes. Shannon is a recent graduate of Boston University’s Schools of Social Work. She has experience working with Boston’s at-risk youth in group foster home settings and as an in-home therapist. Shannon now works as a foster care social worker and therapist in Redding.
